The daily servings consist of: dairy=2-3 servings, meats=2-3 servings, vegetables=3-5 servings, fruits=2-4 servings, breads=6-11 servings, and fats, oils and sweets=use very sparingly.
These food groups will also show what the food groups consist of pertaining to what is in the food groups; dairy=milk, yogurt, and cheese; meats=poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts; vegetables=always best if fresh and a wide variety; fruits=always best if fresh and a wide variety; breads=wide variety of breads and also cereal, rice, and pasta; fats, oils and sweets=steer away from as much as possible(no more than 75 calories daily).

The daily diet will consist of giving examples of healthy foods, a dietary exchange list, which will consist of sample menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack time.
The daily diet will also show that a vitamin rich diet is best, and will show what the daily intake should be for calories, protein, carbohydrate, total fat, saturated fat, cholesterol, sodium, fiber, potassium, calcium, and monounsaturated fat. A daily diet that consists of healthy foods can also help curb some types of illnesses.
The healthier we eat the better chance we have of staying healthy and not getting ill as often; this will mean less visits to the doctors, and less money to pay out. The benefits of eating healthy will explain the concept of eating healthy will allow us to avoid getting sick as often. In studies done in the past years inside large organizations it is said that all people will benefit from eating healthy. Some of the things that employers will be going over with their employees will be advice, education, and services on how to get healthy and stay healthy.

Some of the food choices that we make will also help to steer us away from some types of illnesses.

Some examples of healthy foods would take us back to our food pyramid. These healthy foods would consist of dairy, meats, vegetables, fruits, breads, and fats, oils, and sweets.
